We have created a QR code for a survey. This survey will be located around the ballpark and at the bottom of all receipts. Our incentive for our customers/fans to participate in our survey is that they will receive 10% off their next ticket purchase. We believe that a survey is the best way to attain feedback because it is not forced upon our fans, instead, they can be motivated to do it because of this incentive.
Our survey will have a place to add a staff member's name if the fan would like to review their experience with a specific employee. We value each experience that a fan has at the ballpark and the survey is a simple way to attain the opinions of our valued fans. This will give us a better understanding of which staff members are demonstrating our mission and vision statements, and whether they are having positive attitudes and interactions with fans.
This survey will give us extraneous information to go over in our quarterly check-ins with our staff members. We value this information because we value feedback from our fans. These check-ins will allow us to figure out what we need to improve as an organization, such as a change of attitude for a certain individual. Quarterly meetings allow us to reinforce our mission and build new customer service skills.
Daily check-ins with players and managers to ensure everything is going as planned will allow for voices to be heard and questions to be asked. We care about any concern or uncertainty they may have. On top of our quarterly check-ins that will be happening year round, weekly check-ins with all staff members occur during the baseball season and check-ins happen biweekly during the offseason, simply because it is not as busy around the stadium. We hope that meetings not only create clarity, but also cultivate a friendly environment among all staff.
The Storm Chasers organization looks to build lifelong relationships with our fans. We value the importance of social and emotional intelligence, which is, "the ability to be aware of one's own feelings in the present moment" (https://www.positiveaction.net/blog/social-and-emotional-intelligence). In our own words, social and emotional intelligence is our every reaction to customer feelings and interactions. One way that we show our intentionality in this area is through giving fans additional awards and prizes if a staff member notices they have been standing in line for a long time. Rewards and prizes include a free souvenir ice cream bowl or soda cup, a discount on food, or discounted (or even free!!) tickets. We want to be able to communicate with fans, solve their issues, and take advantage of their invested time in order to give them a better experience. We never want a fan to be disappointed or frustrated when something is not going the way they hoped or planned. That is why we are so incredibly intentional about our moments of truth within the ballpark, and we believe our nonstop customer service is part of that system.
We want to use our survey to help identifying customers satisfaction levels. With customer satisfaction surveys we are able to monitor our fans experience and satisfaction.
