For over 25 years, I have dedicated myself to the art and craft of collecting and analyzing early modern books (1500-1750 AD), with a special focus on works printed in Antwerp and books featuring maculature (recycled parchment). My deep fascination with the physical and historical aspects of books drives me to uncover the stories behind these rare artifacts. This journey through book history has given me a unique insight into the cultural and intellectual heritage of the early modern period, particularly in the Low Countries. Based in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, I continually seek out new treasures, expanding my collection and knowledge of this captivating era. My passion is not just about amassing volumes, but about preserving and understanding the rich history they hold.
