Client Position: Client seated, forearm on table, pronated.
Axis: Lateral ulnar styloid process
Goniometer Stationary arm: Midline of ulna
Goniometer Moveable arm: Midline of the fifth metacarpal
Instruct Client: "Bend your wrist up toward the ceiling."

Directions: Client will lift hand off table and extend wrist. Client can be positioned off the side of a table. Client can keep fingers relaxed.
Norm: 0-70°

Goniometer Stationary arm: Midline of ulna
Goniometer Moveable arm: Middle of the fifth metacarpal
Instruct Client: "Bend your wrist up and raise your hand toward the ceiling."

Directions: Client will lift their hand off the table and flex their wrist. The client can be positioned off the side of a table if unable to fully supinate. The client can keep fingers relaxed.
Norm: 0-80°

Instruct Client: Bend your wrist and move your hand towards the thumb side.
