Client Position: Client seated, forearm on table, pronated.
Axis: Lateral ulnar styloid process
Goniometer Stationary arm: Midline of ulna
Goniometer Moveable arm: Midline of fifth metacarpal
Instruct Client: "Bend your wrist up toward the ceiling"

Directions: Client will lift hand off table and extend wrist. Client can be positioned off the side of a table. Client can keep fingers relaxed.
Norm: 0-70°

Goniometer Moveable arm: Middle of fifth metacarpal
Instruct Client: "Bend your wrist up and raise hand toward the ceiling"
