16.1 Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to establish the idea that you can still have fun while being professional. Match the way you conduct yourself as a police officer to the story of your character. Use your creative imagination. Every interaction does NOT have to follow these SOPs to a "T". 

16.2 the General idea

• Try putting yourself in the shoes of a criminal trying to have fun and create scenarios for others. Keep it fair.

• If it seems like somebody is trying to create and fun, meaningful, and interactive scenario, try playing along. Don't immediately shut it down.

• Have fun, but be aware of your audience and surroundings.

• Try new things.

• If you have ideas, bring them up. 

• You are responsible for your own story. Make it fun, just don't be reckless.

16.3 the big picture

The core concept behind being a police officer is to balance out the crime happening in the city so the crims aren't free to run amuk. The other side of that coin is to have fun, police lose absolutely nothing at the end of the day. Watch a couple episodes of Reno 911 to understand how to better operate within the SOP's while still creating engaging RP content for the community.  We're all here to have fun, don't take being an officer too seriously!
