This chapter outlines the activity expectations for all members of the San Andreas State Police (SASP) and the proper procedures for requesting a Leave of Absence (LOA). Maintaining an active and dedicated force is crucial for effective operations and ensuring roleplay quality.
Activity requirements are on a bi-weekly (2 week) basis. All active-duty SASP members are required to meet the following activity requirements:
Recruit: 2 Hours Bi-Weekly
Probationary Officer - Senior Officer: 5 Hours Bi-Weekly
Command: 10 Hours Bi-Weekly
High Command: 20 Hours Bi-Weekly
If no formal LOA is filed and an audit is performed on activity, you will receive a strike. High command has discretion to terminate if low activity is logged.
All officers are required to log their patrol time through the department’s Clock On / Off channel.
Each week you do not meet the minimum activity requirement for your rank, you will receive a strike. You get 3 free strikes. After your 4th, you will be terminated from the department.
If an officer is unable to fly in for a prolonged period of time due to personal, medical, or real-life obligations, they may submit a Leave of Absence (LOA) Request by following these steps:
Submit a formal LOA request through the department's LOA portal via the departments Discord.
Specify the expected duration of the leave.
Officers wishing to resign from the department should submit a formal resignation notice instead of going inactive.
Maintaining activity is crucial for the efficiency of the San Andreas State Police. Officers are expected to fulfill their commitments, and those unable to do so should properly communicate their circumstances. LOAs ensure the department functions smoothly.
