NYSO DKG Scholarships
Georgia I. Hartmann Scholarship offered annually to an active teacher.
Edna B. Mack Scholarship is to provide assistance to NYSO DKG members who seek advanced education or specialized development in order to improve or expand their ability to perform distinctive service in the education field.
Ruth E. Williams Scholarship to provide assistance to an active teacher of NYSO DKG for professional development.
A. Evadna Crawford Scholarship Fund with preference for educators who are working with elementary age children.
Iona M. Keeler Scholarship is given to recipients who are early career educators or collegiate members or to recipients who are Native Americans who wish to become teachers with special consideration given to Native American applicants who wish to become teachers or work in the field of education. Two year membership requirements are waived for National American applicants and collegiate members.
Gladys I. Mersereau is offered to collegiate members to provide financial assistance towards the completion of their degrees in the field of education. Their years of membership shall be waived.
Native American Grants-in-Aid to women of Native American heritage from New York State who are attending college.
The Jeanette Johnson, Jennie Snapp and Phoebe Mersereau Eldredge Scholarships are offered when the bequest funds accumulate to five hundred dollars.
