The 2022 Fall Classic is an unfinished offseason tournament between Joe, Carston, Colton, and Will. All the events that happened were a draft, Carston defeating Colton in a wild game, Joe defeating Will, and Will defeating Carston. A day 2 was supposed to happen but never did. There was no official winner. The video was not uploaded to the NSL channel until Summer 2023, and you can find this video linked below.
The 2023 Fall Classic was a 2-day event. The first day consisted of friendlies between current NSL members. The second day was a brand new Play-In Tournament.
The second day consistsed of 3 newcomers and Keith's return to try to get into the league. The tournament was a round robin into a bracket. The champion would be promoted to the NSL for the 2024 season. At the time, this was the most attended and watched event and brought a new life to NSL.
The first winter event in NSL history. A unique tournament compared to others of NSL sort. Andrew, Joe, and Jacob gathered to battle it out. It was a round robin into a bracket. Also, this was the only NSL event to incorporate stars and items. Andrew went undefeated including a win in the championship. Joe placed runner-up and Jacob got 3rd.
A round-robin tournament which saw the return of Keith, who played in the 2022 Season and 2023 Play-In Tournament. Along with Keith, current members, Jacob, Joe, and Will participated as well. Will went through pool play undefeated, Joe with 2 wins and a loss, Jacob with a win and 2 losses, and Keith winless. In the bracket play, Jacob and Will met in the finals where Jacob took down Will.
The 2024 NSL Fall Classic saw 4 returning members (Joe, Jacob, Wilson, Will) and 2 newcomers (Jack, Anthony). There was no play-in this year. The format for the Classic was similar to 2023 in the friendly matches. It was a round robin. Anthony, the newcomer, took home first place. Note: the video has audio issues.
Similar to the last offseason event, the 2025 Summer Showdown had a solid turnout of 6 players. Anthony, Garrett, Jacob, Joe, and Will were once again joined by Keith. Keith notched his first NSL-event win since Week 1 of 2022. That win was Keith's only ever win throughout the 2022 NSL Season, 2023 Play-In, and 2024 Summer Showdown. Keith won two games in the tournament which was a surprise for many. Joe took home the crown going a perfect 4-0, including a walk-off win against Garrett in the championship.
The fourth annual Fall Classic was much like the previous one. No play-in spots to be rewarded, instead a tournament between Anthony, Jack, Jacob, Joe, and Will. Will continued his misfortune from the 2025 season, and Jacob finished right above him at 4th. Anthony, Jack, and Joe were all tied at 3-1, where run differential favored Joe and Jack for the championship, where Joe took down Jack to win the event.
This was another unique event, just like the first winter event. It was the first to be played after the new year, right before the season. Additionally, it was the first 2v2 event. Cousins Joe and Jacob teamed up against cousins Anthony and Will in a best of 3 series. Anthony and Will scraped by in game 1, 4-3. Joe and Jacob bounced back with a dominant 6-0 win in game 2. Down to their last strike in game 3, Joe and Jacob hit a game-tying home run to force extras, where Will and Anthony would hit a walk-off in the 12th inning.
