Hayden was the 13th member of the NSL. He played one season in the NSL and put together a 3-8 record. A fun fact is that all three of his wins came from the same week. He brought the energy that NSL enjoys seeing.

Hayden was a newcomer to sluggers and didn't have much expectations. However, in the game of sluggers, anything can happen. He started off with two one-run losses in Week 1 to two of the best players in the league. He flipped a switch in Week 2. Winning his first three before falling to last-placed Will. He started off Week 3 with the biggest loss in league history, and nothing else went good for him. He fell to Jack 0-4 in the first round of the playoffs.
