Joe, despite taking some questionable losses early in the season, was able to repeat as the 2-seed. He took down Jacob in round 1, beat Garrett in the semifinals, and bested Matt in the championship 2-1. Home Stadium - Yoshi Park (Day)
Matt didn't get in the win column until week 3, and finished last in the regular season. Facing Andrew in round 1, who he had previously lost to by 6, Matt was able to pull off the 8 vs. 1 seed upset to advance. He took down Wilson in the semifinals, and was unable to finish the job in the championship against Joe. Home Stadium - Bowser Jr. Playroom (Day)
Garrett finally got out of the 4 vs. 5 matchup with a really impressive regular season. 11-6 at the 3 seed, was able to take down Will in round 1 in an excellent performance in the clutch. Unfortunately, he couldn't come back again in the semifinals against Joe. Home Stadium - Yoshi Park (Night)
Wilson, with a remarkable bounce-back season, took the 4 seed just like 2022 with a 8-9 record. He was finally able to win his first playoff game taking down Tween in 17 innings. He fell to Matt in the semifinals. Home Stadium - DK Jungle (Night)
Andrew was able to repeat success in the regular season with another 1 seed at a record of 13-4. He fell victim to the big upset this year as he lost to Matt in the first round after Brown Kritter hit a walkoff home run. Home Stadium - Luigi Mansion (Night)
Tween started off poor, but showed all his fans he was solid, taking the 5 seed at a 7-10 record. He lost to Wilson for the 4th time this season in round 1 in an outstanding, 17 inning thriller. Home Stadium - Mario Stadium (Night)
Will, who looked like the Day division favorite after the first two weeks, went 2-7 to end the regular season to slide into the 6 seed at 7-10. Taking on Garrett in the first round, Will fumbled a 1-0 lead in the last inning and eventually lost in extras. Home Stadium - Mario Stadium (Day)
Jacob stayed near the bottom of the standings all year. He was able to avoid playing Andrew by taking the 7 seed at 6-11. He ran into Joe, who eliminated him last year, and fell victim to a walk off home run from Yellow Pianta. He was still able to defeat Will 2-1 in the season series. Home Stadium - Wario City (Day)

Week 1
An unexpected week for a lot of reasons. Andrew started off undefeated as expected, however Wilson took a game from Joe. Jacob starts off 0-2 after losing to Garrett and Will, both of which went undefeated. Matt, with the tough schedule of Andrew and Joe, couldn't win a game either. Tween is the last of the winless squad, in his debut he lost to Andrew and Will in close games. Garrett took down Wilson in the opening matchup.
Records:
Night - Andrew 2-0, Garrett 2-0, Wilson 1-1, Tween 0-2
Day - Will 2-0, Joe 1-1, Jacob 0-2, Matt 0-2
Week 2
Tween and Will's first round game was redone due to rule infractions from Will. Tween won this game and the sequel both this week. A very long week shook up the standings quite a bit. At this point in the season, Night Division was looking much more dominant than Day. As expected, Andrew led Night Division and Garrett was closely behind. Tween was third, with all of his wins coming against Day. Will had the lead for Day, Joe was below .500 and Matt and Jacob had a combined one win. A rough look for the division that was by far better in 2023.
Records:
Night - Andrew 7-1, Garrett 7-2, Tween 4-4, Wilson 2-5
Day - Will 5-3, Joe 3-4, Jacob 1-6, Matt 0-4
Week 3
Tween and Garrett both missed out on this week, and it started at 9 am. This week was much shorter than week 2 and saw Matt finally get into the win column. Andrew would further his lead of Night Division with Garrett not playing at all. Joe would take over the Day Division lead.
Records:
Night - Andrew 10-2, Garrett 7-2, Tween 4-4, Wilson 4-8
Day - Joe 6-5, Will 6-6, Matt 3-8, Jacob 3-8
Week 4
Week 4 would be a competition between Jacob, Matt, and Wilson to see who would have to face Andrew in the first round. Wilson did his job, going 4-1 to avoid this and actually jumping Tween for 3rd in the division. Jacob did just enough to pass Matt in the standings to avoid playing Andrew as well. Will would continue his fall from 1st in Day Division and 3rd overall, going 1-4 this week, along with 1-3 the week before, to finish 2nd in Day and 6th overall. Day took the bottom 3 seeds in the bracket. Joe continued his run to finish 2nd overall and pass Garrett. As expected, Andrew would be the top seed once again.
Records:
Night - Andrew 13-4, Garrett, 11-6, Wilson 8-9, Tween 7-10
Day - Joe 11-6, Will 7-10, Jacob 6-11, Matt 5-12
Playoffs
The most intense week of every year. Wilson and Tween would find themselves playing their 3rd straight game against each other dating back to week 4. At this point, Wilson had a 3-0 sweep on Tween in the regular season. At the end of this 17 inning battle, the record became 4-0. Joe was able to knock off Jacob on a walkoff homerun. Andrew suffered his first loss in the playoffs since the 2022 semifinals (best of 3). His final year in the league was cut short by a walkoff homerun from Matt and the trophy would go to someone new this year. Will held a 1-0 lead going into the 5th inning against Garrett, however Garrett had other plans and took the game in extras. Joe knocked off Garrett in the semifinals and would face Matt, the 8 seed who defeated Wilson in his semifinal matchup. Matt's Cinderella run came to an end in the championship, and Joe would win his first title in his second championship appearance. Despite losing the regular season series, Day division took down Night in the All-Star game for the second straight year.
