These committees will be holding regular meetings for the Fall 2019 semester.
Please contact the Chair or otherwise listed contact if you would like to join a Committee or to receive regular updates on its activities. Please contact the Secretariat Member overseeing the committee if your organization or office would like to sponsor any of our committees' initiatives.
Parliamentary Operations Committee

The Parliamentary Committee is responsible for drafting the operational framework of the Caucus, including its Constituting Articles, governing structure, and other by-laws and procedures.
The Parliamentary Committee is only open to Caucus Members who have served at least one semester in the Caucus and have received five nominations signed by active Caucus Members.
This committee shall not exceed 21 Members per semester.
International Student Advocacy Committee

The International Student Advocacy Committee is tasked with developing resolution proposals and other Caucus initiatives geared towards improving the mental and physical health, professional and academic opportunities, and overall well-being of Northeastern's International Student population.
The ISA Committee is only open to Caucus Members with international student status.

The Marketing & Outreach Committee manages the Caucus's brand for effective internal and external marketing and outreach. This team will promote events and involvement opportunities from CNSOC Member Orgs, Caucus Committees, and other campus and community partners.
Mental Health Access & Expansion Committee

The Mental Health Access & Expansion Committee is tasked with the development of proposals and solutions that will further access to mental health resources for marginalized communities on campus as well as expand the existing list of active support resources available to our on and off campus communities

Activism & Social Change Committee

This committee will develop Caucus initiatives in order to spur positive change on campus and in the local community through active social justice work.
Recommended actions include but are not limited to: food & clothing drives, educational programming, community engagement & development projects, efforts to improve student-community relations
Data Collection & Analysis Committee

This committee will develop reasonably quantifiable metrics to measure the overall well-being of People of Color within the Northeastern University ecosystem over time. These efforts will help us to form a better understanding of how initiatives to improve access, diversity, and inclusion for marginalized communities actually affect our communities over the years.
Faculty & Staff Advocacy Committee

This committee will develop reasonably quantifiable metrics to measure the overall well-being of Faculty/Staff of Color within the Northeastern University ecosystem over time. These efforts will include conducting exit interviews for Faculty/Staff of Color as well as sending out regular anonymized wellness checks to members of various marginalized communities.
Fundraising & Appropriations Committee

This committee will work to find, create, and maintain sustainable funding sources on behalf of the Caucus's other committees, the General Assembly, and the CNSOC.
Necessary powers will include the power to draft and submit grant proposals on behalf of all Caucus members, the power to apportion and otherwise decide appropriate spending limits of ALL Caucus entities, and the power to establish effective third-party relations for the management and execution of the Caucus's budget(s).
