Pro Mode is considered being able to access the camera features like Shutter Speed, ISO, White Balance. Each of our phones are different and they will call it something different as well. iPhones will won't have a 'Pro' mode per se, but the camera does react accordingly to dark environments but opening the shutter for longer. (Which is why that 'Pro' setting is hard to find)
On Android devices look for setting like Pro Mode or Manual to get access to these features.
If you can, then you will be able to do some very interesting camera shots like Fast Frame Photography, Ghosts or Light Painting. (Note: Some cameras like the iPhones will do burst photography which is like fast frame photography.)
