To begin our journey into Photography we should understand how it works. Its begin with the basics how we see/capture light.
What better way than starting with a camera obscura.
In its simplest form, a camera obscura is a dark room with a small hole in one wall. When it’s bright outside, light enters through the hole and projects an upside-down image of the outside world onto the wall opposite the hole. A camera aperture works the same.
Did you know that this is also same for our eyes and that we see the world upside down until our brain 'flips' the image.
Camera Obscura is the beginning of how we capture imagery in cameras.
