Lite Brite was invented by Burt Meyer and Joseph Burck. The company they worked for, Marvin Glass and Associates (which designed toys and games), licensed the invention to Hasbro. Lite Brite was released in 1967. Original Lite Brite templates included Scooby-Doo and Mickey Mouse. TIme Magazine named Lite Brite on the list of the top 100 toys of all time.
*This Lite Brite is a retro release of the original.
