Situated in heart of Almada city, Externato Frei Luís de Sousa is a school with about 600 students, from 1 to 18 years old and about 80 education professionals, including teachers and other employees. The institution has always sought ways that would enable an education with meaning to all their students, implying permanently in the diffucult task of training and socialization of their learners.
That was how the instition sought to grow and envolve, adapting to new times, new realities without ever fail to make a commitment to help build anopen society in which citizenship is supported by the values of justice, tolerance, truth and freedom.
It is therefore a school holder of an open mind, which always seeks to develop in thier students the four pillars of such education in Delors report: “learning to know, learning to do, learning to be and learning to live together”.
The main agents participating in this project are education teachers and leaders of the different areas of knowledge from Externato Frei Luiz de Sousa, who will develop activities with the students and people from with 60 years or more. It is a Christian school which alse has students from different cultures and students with special needs.
