Montessori related events have taken place to increase in the learning process of self-improvement and mental development of special education students by different activities.
Maria Montessori believed in the formation of mixed groups with children of different ages because she believed that this was a stimulus to learning.
For example, younger children will be intrigued by what older children do and will ask them for explanations. Following this input at school there were continuity activities between primary and secondary school classes where older children acted as tutors for younger children working in mixed groups on different topics.
