Allergy -Friendly
Sweets

My name is Sarah and I'm a Freshman at NLA. For my IP project I decided to make Allergy-friendly sweets. I did research on 4 different candy allergy bars but I decided to only make 2 of them. I came up with this project because I have a sweet tooth and I love candy (Especially ones with chocolate in them). There are so many people out there who have a vegan, gluten free, or non-dairy diet for both health and allergy reasons and cant enjoy these candies.
To collect "Data" I asked my family questions about the taste, appearance, and quality of the treats I made along with comparing them to the original store-bought versions. For my project, I created peanut butter cups (Reese's) and peppermint patties (York)
I hope you enjoy my project! :))
