The STEAM program for Middle School includes elective classes that are interactive and engaging. The 15% Innovation Portfolio program provide the additional opportunity for students to exercise their interests and creativity beyond the traditional classroom settings.

6th Grade

students typically choose a DIY project to learn new skills and enjoy the process of design by trial and error.

7th Grade

The Scientific Inquiry process is introduced in 7th grade Life Science through experimentation and data analysis. Many 7th graders choose 15%IP projects that involve scientific investigation and designing a controlled experiment.

8th Grade

In 8th grade, students begin to incorporate the Engineering Design process in their projects. Many 8th graders are fascinated with prototyping using 3D printers and our laser cutter. They have access to all wood shop and Technology equipment in the Engineering Lab.
