BUSINESS UNIT Control Techniques
JOB TITLE Area Sales Manager Guadalajara
LOCATION Guadalajara, Jalisco.

SUMMARY OF ROLE
Generate new orders for the Company's products, systems and services to meet booking and shipment goals in the assigned territory.
Develop new customer Directly or teaming-up with OEMs, System Integrators & Distributors.
Stay current on all Control Techniques (CT) and KB Electronics (KBE) products from a technical, applications, pricing and selling benefits standpoint. Generate and present to customers, written quotations for CT/KBE products, systems and services using current pricing and sales policies.
Develop and maintain a sales plan for the area that meets or exceeds the shipment objective and grows market share within the assigned territory. This includes development of NEW direct accounts, especially OEM type, as a complement to those customers developed by distributors, representatives or integrators.
Manage representatives or integrators, if they exist in a territory, and develop the distributor network within assigned territory, including evaluation of new distributor candidates and organization of sales / application / product training activities.
Prepare monthly and annual sales forecast and target account pipeline by customer and distributor within assigned territory. Present an update of this pipeline monthly, using the company CRM system.
Learn to demonstrate CT/KBE equipment and train customers in applications, features and benefits of products and how they compare to competitive products.
Follow up on all leads.
Assist with CT sponsored trade shows as requested.
Support distributors with mutual sales calls and training.
Keep marketing and management abreast of all competitive activity and market development in district.
Provide reliable new order forecasts for CT/KBE products and systems and meet or exceed those forecasts.
Develop a target account list for area and strategy to achieve sales of CT and KBE products in each account.
Document in company’s CRM and to manager and/or appropriate personnel all significant communications or sales calls with customers.
Enter weekly appointment activity details into the company’s CRM per Sales Department Policy.
Develop knowledge of competitive products and strategy for competing.
Learn and follow current CT/KBE Sales processes including sales policies.
Keep expenses in line with budget for area.
CUSTOMER AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Customers. Target visits is estimated on at least 30-35 per month.
Travel. Estimated minimum 50% of working time.
Assigned Territory (but not limited to, based on business needs):
Primary: Jalisco, Aguascalientes.
Secondary: Michoacan, Nayarit, Sinaloa.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education and Qualifications.
Essential
Bachelor Degree in Electronic or Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering
Sales Experience
Bilingual Spanish-English
Desirable
Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing automation industry. Motors, Drives, Machinery, Servomotors, and related.
Sales Force
Water and Wastewater industry.
Experience
Essential
2-3 years sales experience on variable speed drives and servo control systems
Desirable
Automation process and integration systems.
