Issue # 31/2023 08/29/2023

As we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Control Techniques, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the innovation of drives technology in the past half-century.

At our roundtable discussion, our drive obsessives with guest speaker Andy Quenault from DPA Magazine explored transformations from DC to AC drives, the adoption of IGBT technology, advances in silicon-based technology, and the evolution of drives as a tailored solution for various applications.

We also looked ahead to the future, exploring developments such as AI, and how these new technologies are being incorporated into reliable drives of the future.

It's not often a town holds a summer festival for families and kids where all activities, food and drink is free. Control Techniques sponsored the event in Newtown and a few of us went today to hand out free cupcakes (when you're celebrating 50 years in business what else would you give out, has to be cake). They went down a storm and everyone had a great day. Proud to live and work in this town.

Proud to celebrate another year of success together. 🎉 🎉

In this month, one of our recently onboarded distributors is celebrating their 24th anniversary since joining the company from its inception.

The CT Team extends their heartfelt congratulations.
