The A.A. groups themselves ought to be fully supported by the voluntary contributions of their own members. We think that each group should soon achieve this ideal; that any public solicitation of funds using the name of Alcoholics Anonymous is highly dangerous, whether by groups, clubs, hospitals, or other outside agencies; that acceptance of large gifts from any source, or of contributions carrying any obligation whatever, is unwise. Then too, we view with much concern those A.A. treasuries which continue, beyond prudent reserves, to accumulate funds for no stated A.A. purpose. Experience has often warned us that nothing can so surely destroy our spiritual heritage as futile disputes over property, money, and authority.
Our 7th Tradition states:
"Every AA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions."

Why collect the 7th Tradition for online meetings?
Never Alone Again has ongoing expenses, just like in-person meetings. Your contributions help us carry the message of recovery and keep our community strong. To learn more about how your donations are allocated or for general 7th Tradition information see theA.A. Group Treasurer Pamphlet.
Here's how your donations are used:
Zoom Platform: Our meetings regularly welcome more than 120 participants, and we rely on a paid Zoom account to host both our morning and evening meetings.
Website & Newsletter: We maintain our domain and hosting platform each year so newcomers and members can always find us online. We email a weekly newsletter with AA information and group updates to keep all of our members informed of what's happening at Never Alone.
Newcomer Support: We mail out sobriety chips for newcomers who claim a chip at the Friday Night Beginner’s Meeting. Each chip pairs to a sobriety time between 24 hours to 11 months.
We provide free A.A. literature to newcomers and members in need, shipping out a Big Book and/or a Twelve Steps & Twelve Traditions each week.
AA Service Contributions: Each month, we support our local Districts 12 & 13, Area 30 Eastern Massachusetts, AA Boston Central Service, and the General Service Office in New York. These contributions ensure that AA as a whole can continue its vital work.
Beyond Our Group: Your support also helps provide Central Office/GSO operating expenses: Websites and phone lines, Rent, insurance, and utilities for office space, Compensation for Special Workers.
