BIBLE VERSES:
Exodus 3:13-15 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”
14God said to Moses, “I am who I am.c This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ”
15God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord,d the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’
“This is my name forever,
the name you shall call me
from generation to generation.
Isiah 42 “I am YHWH; that is my name!
I will not yield my glory to another
or my praise to idols.
9 See, the former things have taken place,
and new things I declare;
before they spring into being
I announce them to you.”
OPINION:
The answer was: YHWH. Which can be translated: “I am” or “I am who I am” or “I will be who I will be”
His name means you can’t define him, put him in a box or even call YHWH “him” like I am doing right now. YHWH is not a god, that would be trying to define him.
Now it makes sense to me, when Yeshua said "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out." YHWH can cause his spirit to enter anything and make it an obedient follower singing his praises.
So Is Yeshua YHWH? This can't be answered, because if you say "Jesus is God" then you are defining God, If you say Jesus is not God, then you are limiting God's power and still defining what he can or can't do, who or what he is. Link to Trinity study.
YHWH also has many descriptions. My earthly father's name is Dave. I may use that name to introduce him to others, but otherwise I call him Dad, Same with our heavenly father. We don't address him by his holy name, we address him as Abba father, Holy, Love, etc. etc.
