Sunday January 5 2020: American, Egyptian, Roman traditions,
January 6-10: Research, study history of these traditions through the Bible and Google. Each day write down 1 fact.
January 11: Sabbath rest / Holy assembly
January 12: Study Amos 5, and Acts 7, Link to these verses and to definitions and studies of these gods, Also study 2Kings 23 and Nehemiah 8. Notice the Jews historically are very much like America, forgot the commanded feasts, celebrated the feast of December 25.
January 13-17: research and write down 1 fact about each god every day. (Saturnalia, Ra, Rathen, etc.)
January 18: Sabbath rest / Holy assembly
January 19: Study Isiah 29:1&13 Mark 7: 6-9 Read all of Isaiah 29 but especially verse 1 and 13. (Ariel is jerusalem)
January 20-24: Make a list of all the traditions we still do that don't make sense and are not from the Bible.
January 25: Sabbath rest / Holy assembly
January 26: Skim over chapters 20-23 of Exodus, notice the feasts are part of all the commandments. Read Exodus 34. Notice feasts are part of the 10 commandments. Read Leviticus 23, These are the 7 commanded feasts plus weekly sabbaths we are to keep. Notice how often it says " This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live." Not just for Jerusalem, not just for the time before Jesus.
January 27-31: Write down things you like to do at big family parties.
February: New Testament, What would Jesus Do?
February 1: Sabbath rest / Holy Assembly
February 2: Matthew 23: 30-36. Often we think or even say, "I would have recognized Jesus, I wouldn't have crucified him, those Jews were dumb in the old testament, they never listened, stiff necked people" But here we are, as we learned in January, we are celebrating the same feasts, the Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, and Americans celebrated. We have replaced Passover with Easter the fertility god. We have replaced Pentecost with Halloween, We have replaced the 3 fall feasts with Christmas.
February 3-7:
March: Preparation for Passover / Unleavened Bread / First Fruits.
April: Observing Passover
May: Pentecost About Teachings / Commands / Laws
June: Observing Pentecost
July: Independence day, Thanksgiving, other feasts
August: Book camping trip for October 3-10
September: Rosh Hashanah, Jewish New Year 5780 Most researchers believe and I also believe Yeshua will fulfill the last 3 feasts when he returns. Feast of Trumpets 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Feast of Atonement Acts 17:29-31 Feast of Tabernacles Revelation 21: (all new testament verses) Zechariah 14: 16-19 (old testament prophecy about Jesus second coming and ruling from Jerusalem)
October: Sukkot, feast of tabernacles, Heavy individual and group Bible study for week of camping
November: Study Hanukkah and other non biblical feasts, what can we learn.
December: history of benefits and negatives of historical holidays and conforming them to Christianity.
