The 2 health clearance items scholars must renew every year are:

• TB Quantiferon Blood Test

  • only returning scholar may receive TB test at Mission Hospital, all other scholars must go to their healthacre provider for a test

• N 95 Mask Fitting

  • will take place at Mission Hospital for ALL scholars

FAQs

Q: Can I get any of my immunizations or TB test at Mission Hospital?

A: No. These must be covered by the trainee.

Q: Can I get the TB skin test (PPD)?

A: No. Mission Hospital only accepts the blood test for TB.

Q: Can I begin training if I still having outstanding clearance items to turn in?

A: No. All items must be turned in to start training.

Q: Do you accept history of a disease instead of a titer?

A: No.

Q: What is my TB is positive?

A: You will need to provide a clear chest x-ray.
