1. How many months is a rotation? 

   • 3 months

2. How many hours do I need to complete in a rotation?

   • 48 hours (16 hours each month)

3. How do I see how many hours I have completed so far? 

   • On CORE ELMS, select the Hours Tracking tab. You'll be able to see how many total hours you have so far or filter by a certain department. 

     • If you need a formal verification of your hours, please complete the Hours Audit form and email your Administrative Coordinator for confirmation of your request.  

4. What counts towards graduation from the program? 

   • Almost everything! Meeting, training, floor, recruitment, projects, shadowing, and training hours.  Leadership hours do not count towards graduation from the program. 

5. How many hours do I need to graduate from the program? Do I have to graduate once I obtain this amount? 

   • You need at least 280 hours to graduate from the program, but this does not mean you have to graduate once you reach 280 hours. 

6. What are the current departments available at Mission Hospital?

 7. I wish to give back to the program! What can I do? 

• • That's great! We invite you check our Leaders Page for more information about how to get involved with the leadership team. We also have the Training Ambassador program and several project initiatives we invite you to be a part of!

8. I need a Letter of Recommendation! Who should I contact? 

• • Please contact the Program Manager if you ever need a letter of recommendation/reference or need a practicum evaluation. Be sure to have at least 240 graduation hours, be in good standing, and submit supplemental materials with your request.
