This artifact of my final reflection paper from a Race and Ethnicity class aligns very well with Standard 7 of Access and Equity. Throughout the paper I focus on how as a future teacher I am wanting all students to be treated the same no matter their race, religion, or ethnicity. To spin off of that I am wanting each and every student to receive the same opportunities no matter their background. If they are from diverse backgrounds I want to recruit those students into my program and show them that the program is also for them.
This artifact of SAE for All Plan connects to the Standard 7 Assess and Equity. In my program I am going to attempt to make all students feel welcome and important no matter their background. Each student should deserve to record data and have an SAE. Each of my students are going to succeed one way or another in my program, whether that be in SAE or a different contest they may be interested in. As a teacher I want my students to strive no matter what and I want my program to have different support services throughout contests and SAEs from mentors from the community.
