Fall Novel Studies

We began the school year with a review of fiction. Students listened to book talks, and were given the option to choose the novel they were most interested in reading. Once the novels were chosen, the students set off on their first novel study. The novel study included: a syllabus, vocabulary, comprehension questions, skill assignments, and a Flipgrid video reflection over 6 parts. Each novel teaches us about empathy, compassion, and understanding. Take a peak at their hard work throughout the past 6 weeks.
