Entrance Ticket- Happy Saint Patrick's Day - In your entrance ticket, please write if you celebrate St. Patrick's Day at your house.  If you do, tell me what you do, if you don't, tell me if you think it looks like fun?

After everyone arrives, watch the video on Saint Patrick's Day together

and the story of How to Catch a Leprechaun

Then using the shamrock paper - write a story about a leprechaun... you can write a rhyming story or just an adventure of what your leprechaun would do to cause trouble. ( brainstorm in your notebook the beginning, middle and end of your story before you begin and be sure to use your senses in this writing.)
