About Me

I have been teaching since I graduated from Miami University in 1989.  I returned to  Miami University, 2019-2020, and obtained my Master's in Instructional Design and Integration of Technology.

I celebrated my 30th wedding anniversary in 2019 and Scott and I returned to Ireland, where we originally went on our honeymoon. It was beautiful.  I love photography and took over 2,000 pictures.

I have two grown children, Madison, (a Miami grad )  who works at Russell Wealth and Wellness and Ian, (a Cedarville grad) who works at WPAFB. Ian's wife, Stacey, (also a Cedarville grad) is a nurse at a local eye surgeon's office.   

I became a grandma in January of 2021, and Sean is an absolute doll.  

My husband, Scott, is the Market President of Huntington Bank and teaches MBA classes in the evening at UD.  He is pretty amazing!

Summer of 2020 we hosted a German student that needed a place to stay once the University closed due to the Covid Crisis.  It was fun learning more about German culture.  (Jakob was 25, I forgot how much a 25 -year-old can eat!)

I enjoy teaching and creating exciting learning opportunities.

I am looking forward to a great year.
