THis week.......

For Valentines Week we played several Valentine themed games with songs we sang.

The students are continuing to grasp the the value and the differences of the notes.

Whole notes, half notes, quarter notes and the dotted half note. The students had the opportunity to play the note values as they were written on the white board with the percussion sticks.

Students have been introduced the Patriotic song--My Country 'Tis of Thee--we are learning for this semester. Have your child listen to this song on Utube to get better aquainted with it.

We will be learning the 1st and Last stanzas of the song.
