this week.....

We were glad to be back to class and had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving with your families.

Our class did such a good job with the Virginia Reel dance at the Thanksgiving Feast. Hopefully you were able to join us. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. We all had a good time!!

We started in with a short time of review and then practiced our song--Victory Chant, for the Talent Show. You have been sent an email with a link for your child to practice

Students learned rhythms with Rhythm Cup Exploration. Students had to learn to concentrate as they read the rhythms written on the white board. We practiced solo and then corporately had to learn to be in sycopation with each other as they passed the cup in rhythm to the next person. The students seemed to have fun with it, though it was challenging!

Added note: Please remind your student to use the restroom and wash hands and drink water during their lunch break before coming to class. There seems to be a pattern of waiting which then breaks the momentum for the whole class. Thank you for your help.
