Students are learning to sight identify the note values of Whole notes, Half notes, Quarter Notes, and Eighth notes.

Students loved listening to "America the Beautiful" being sung as we turned page by page from the pop-up book with beautiful artistic artwork cut out of images of our beautiful country.

We reviewed the Solfege hand signs to Do-Re-Me, and then were challenged to use the Solfege hand signs to music.

Students were introduced to listening to songs using the Solfege and guessing what familiar songs they were.
