Radio Use Standard Operating Procedures
Make sure your comms are clear and quick
You are not the only person in RTO and need to be fast so other people can talk especially if they have a bigger emergency then you.
Know what your going to say before calling to dispatch
If your not calling dispatch and instead another unit you'd say, (Your callsign), (There Callsign) Example 1B-457, 1A-457 Direct.
If the person your trying to contact doesn't answer right away, be patient and wait some time before trying again.Â
