Basic Driving
You are obligated as a civilian with a license to follow all road laws
Scenes, Detours, etc.
If a scene appears on the road you could either wait for the scene to finish or instead either find another route or see if there's a detour. That does not include a self made detour, the detour must be made by a First Responder or DOT member on scene.
First Responder right of way
When a First Responder (Police, Fire, EMS) are responding to a call you are to immediatly pull over to the side of road as to give them right of way. By doing this you help them get to where they need to be faster, potentially even saving a life by doing that.Â
If you fail to pull over and negligently block the responders path you can then be arrested at a later time as it is considered Obstruction of a First Responder, Obstruction of Justice, and more to come depending on the scene you were blocking that Responder from getting too.
