Human Anatomy & Physiology

Human Anatomy & Physiology is designed as an upper level science class. While not designed to prepare students for the AP test or count for college credit, it is definitely the most difficult science class currently offered at Northwood. Students will gain a much more detailed understanding of how their bodies are structured and their function than they have in the past.

The class will involve lecture and discussion, research projects (or other types or long-term projects), and lab activities. The culminating lab activity will be an in-depth dissection to observe first hand the systems and structures they will have spent the year learning about.
