Chapter 4: Invoices and Remittance Advice
[Updated on 27 Oct 2023]
Under the FairPrice Marketplace model, all sellers are selling products directly to our customers.
FairPrice will send you a commission invoice to charge you for the services, and the amount you will receive through the Remittance Advice will be the payable amount stated on the Sales Breakdown Report.
FairPrice will send you a Commission Tax Invoice for your tax filing with IRAS. Please note that this amount is what FairPrice charges you as commission for the provision of Marketplace services, and this amount is NEITHER the amount you will receive in your bank, NOR the total sales invoice. The Commission Tax invoice will be generated and sent to seller automatically.
The Remittance Advice will be sent automatically to you bi-weekly by finadmin@fairprice.com.sg via email.
Payment as per amount stated on the remittance advice will be made on the 3rd & 18th (+/- 3 days) of every month. Invoices are not required to be issued to Fairprice in order to receive this payment, please do check with your bank first if you are experiencing any issues with the payment status.
On the remittance advice the cycle, month and year (i.e. 16-30 Jun20) will be stated under the Narration column.
Customers are reaching out to me directly for tax invoices.
Under the FairPrice Marketplace model, all sellers are selling products directly to our customers. Please be informed that there may be instances where customers require an official GST tax invoice directly from sellers in order to file for their tax claims.
This means that FairPrice customers will be directed/may reach out to the Marketplace sellers directly regarding any issuance of a GST tax invoice that customers may need for their tax claims for Marketplace orders that are purchased via the FairPrice Online platform. Do note that should customers reach out to you regarding this, please assist to reply to them with the appropriate invoice within 3 business days.
