In Visualization Tools for the Classroom, the technology focus (Internet, multi-media software, telecommunications) is directed at: effective display and presentation, establishing linkages among scientific and educational communities, and collaborative activities among groups of learners.
This course will help students:
Analyze information presented in a visual format.
Organize information to present visually with the target audience in mind.
Evaluate the use of visually presented information in the lessons they create and use as K-12 teachers.
Create projects that utilize visually displayed information.
This course will consist of major projects using Google suite, Podcasting, and Google Maps. Other technologies will also be introduced.
