Educational Video Via Padlet!

These instructional videos are useful to students because they help them learn about addition. These videos go over one's place, ten’s place, and hundred’s place. As a teacher, it can be difficult to teach students and have them retain every lesson you teach, so by making videos, not only can the students utilize these and watch them at home, but the guardians can also watch it with them to help them understand where they might have been confused in class. This is important because the teacher cannot always stop and work one-on-one with a student because of how fast paced a general education classroom is. 

Each video specifically takes time to go over each lesson a lot slower than how it would be taught in class. The speed of how it is taught through the video versus through class is important to note because the slower pace allows the student to keep up with the teacher. The student may also pause the video where necessary to practice problems on their own or to catch up. Especially regarding math, students can very quickly fall behind, so these video recordings allow students to stay on top of their lessons and be the best student they can be in the classroom.
