Educational Podcast Via Podomatic

The podcast made for the website is super important because it allows parents and students alike to prepare for the school year. For the parents, they can see the rules and also get an initial perspective of the classroom. Getting to listen in on a teacher’s initial lesson or even a welcome video can be super important, so the parent knows their child is in good hands. It is also important for the parents to hear and understand the rules, so they can be instilling these rules in their children. 

Children alike will also thrive off these podcasts. Not only do they get to virtually meet their new teacher, but they also get to learn a lesson before they even start school. While this seems boring for a student, younger students especially will thrive off this. I chose kindergarten and the ABC’s specifically because most kindergarteners should know their ABC’s, so it is a review for those that know and a lesson for those that do not. There is also a good part of the podcast and knowing your teacher before class. I believe this opens the door for better respect and comfort for the student in knowing that their teacher truly cares about their relationship because of the effort put forth by the teacher.
