Plot
After waving goodbye to the now-dispersing crowd they had attracted with their musical number from the previous episode, the MiPs have a friendly conversation about the event. This conversation is interrupted when Cody seems disturbed by the sight of the four robots standing dormant in the picnic area. MiPP-E notes that those robots have not moved since Bob and he first arrived in Robot Park. Cody seems concerned, but quickly changes the subject by asking about the recreational activities in Robot Park. Mary suggests they go to the Gaming Plaza, and Cody agrees.
In the Gaming Plaza, Bob has apparently set up a large collection of video game merchandise for him to explain to the other three MiPs. When asked his favorite game, Cody replies that it is "Among Us." Intrigued, MiPP-E immediately buys it for the Nintendo Switch and begins playing with Mary. Cody and Bob leave, and when they are out of earshot, Cody suspiciously asks Bob to meet him in Bob's hotel room.
Now in the hotel room, Cody and Bob have a private conversation at a table. They note strange happenings in Robot Park, such as the four dormant robots in the picnic area and the Great Council threatening to reprogram them. Cody decides to make a counter-hack that he will load into the hotel's system overnight
Cody and Bob return to the Gaming Plaza to find that MiPP-E and Mary are in a heated debate over who is the current imposter in "Among Us." When he is voted guilty and Mary was revealed to be the imposter, MiPP-E screams.
Trivia
The title of this episode is based on the game MiPP-E and Mary play in it: "Among Us."
The mood of the game also fits with the unnerving happenings Cody and Bob discuss.
This episode has numerous connections to previous episodes and really begins to tie the whole series together.
In the first Gaming Plaza scene, merchandise includes Nintendo Switch games and accessories, Wii U and 3DS games, an Animal Crossing edition Nintendo Switch, Skylanders, amiibo, "LEGO Dimensions," and "Starlink: Battle for Atlas" interactive figures, and poseable Nintendo figures.
All poseable figures are "dabbing."
MiPP-E is playing "Among Us" on the TV screen using the Nintendo Switch while Mary is playing on her phone. This is because "Among Us" does not have same-screen multiplayer (that would ruin the game).
