Being a Minion, Turbo Dave is very outgoing and loves being mischievous. He assists Bob in becoming royalty.

Appearance

Being a Minion, his body is rounded, matte yellow, and pill-shaped. He has two large brown poseable eyes protected by silver goggles. He has a small, toothy grin, with a few strands of hair on his head. His two arms are poseable at the wrists, elbows, and shoulders. He wears black gloves over his three-fingered hands. He has blue overalls embedded with a black Gru insignia. He wears black shoes and has very small feet. His feet are strapped to a shiny silver segway, which is very rounded with a multicolor light in the middle. Wheel wells contain two thin wheels, and two poseable black and red rockets are attached to the sides. There are silver tails on the back of the segway, as well as a large black exhaust pipe.

  • Like all Despicable Me Minions, Turbo Dave can speak the language "Minionese", as revealed in "MiP's Royal Treatment".

Relationships

• Bob

  • Turbo Dave convinces the "Townsrobots" that Bob is royalty in "MiP's Royal Treatment" by shouting "King Bob!". He later tries to help Bob by handing him the fart gun when he demands a weapon. It is unknown whether Turbo Dave is sincerely loyal to Bob or if he is just being mischievous. Bob shows no personal connection to Turbo Dave over the rest of the "Townsrobots".

  • Turbo Dave shouting “King Bob” is a quote from Minions, and the audio clip from the scene in the movie is used.
