MiPP-E is a curious, optimistic, friendly, and compassionate robot who loves to try new things. He also loves playing video games. However, his curiosity sometimes leads to trouble, and the fact that he is slightly naive does not help his case. Him, Bob, Mary, and Cody are referred to collectively as "the MiPs."
Voice Actor: Elias
Robot: "MiP" (Black) from WowWee
Appearances:
Appearance
His color scheme is matte black and sightly shiny silver. His head is a black sphere with a "visor" wrapped around it that contains his blue LED eyes. Each eye has the shape of two parenthesis with a dot in the middle. His torso is egg-shaped, with a multicolor light in the middle. There is a rectangular battery backpack on his back. His wide-set shoulders and forearms are bulkier and black, while his upper arms are thin and silver. His waist is a silver cylinder while his bottom is black and much wider. The WowWee logo is embedded below his waist. Two thin wheels that are somewhat gear-like in appearance extend from both sides of his bottom.
He has four points of movement: his two wheels, which are motorized, and his two arms (at the shoulder) which are poseable.
Abilities
Pendulum Robot
The MiPs all have the unique ability to balance on two wheels, much like a Segway. This allows for fast and free movement, but when standing still, they must wobble back and forth to maintain their balance.
Physical Combat
In "MiP Plays Super Smash Bros!", MiPP-E is seen knocking over the amiibo with his fists, each punch making a cartoon sound. It is unknown whether or not this skill was imagined.
Laser Eyes
Also in "MiP Plays Super Smash Bros!", MiPP-E knocks over some amiibo by blinking, each blink making a "pew" sound. It is unknown whether or not this was imagined.
Artistic Skills
In "MiP's Quick Draw", MiPP-E entered the drawing contest to win the Nintendo Switch. His picture was never seen, but he appeared to be working hard during the montage, so he might possibly have some artistic skills.
Cartoon Eyes
In both "MiP's Quick Draw" and "MiP's Royal Treatment", MiPP-E is seen with cartoon eyes replacing his normal eyes when he is very excited. This is most likely a product of "cheap photo editing tricks".
Durability
MiPP-E is shown jumping off a mountain, getting hit by Benny's spaceship, then surviving from it in "MiP Boards the Love Boat". This scene may have been imagined or exaggerated, however.
Relationships
They become friends in "MiP Meets MiP" after they were both released from their recovery in the Robot Hospital. MiPP-E seems to be constantly friendly toward Bob despite Bob's somewhat antisocial demeanor. They both share a strong, somewhat eager passion in Nintendo video games.
MiPP-E is nervous but assertive when Meccanoid first approaches him in "MiP Gets a Tour", but when Meccanoid describes the Robot Village, MiPP-E immediately lowers his guard and agrees to follow him. MiPP-E is then grateful to Meccanoid after the tour.
When RoboMe approaches the MiPs in "MiP's Face-Off", MiPP-E tries to be friendly and introduce himself, but RoboMe only seems interested in what he has to say. MiPP-E calls RoboMe weird when he leaves to get an iPhone, then says "aww crepes, he's back" when he returns.
I-Sobot and MiPP-E are left on the ground in "MiP's Royal Treatment" after the crowd carried Bob away with the Switch. MiPP-E thanks I-Sobot when he said Bob won the Switch, but I-Sobot seems annoyed that MiPP-E didn't try to help him up off the ground.
MiPP-E falls in love with Mary at first sight and attempts (but fails) to impress her in "MiP Boards the Love Boat". When they first meet face-to-face, MiPP-E acts very suave until he realizes she is not very interested in him. Since then, MiPP-E has seen her as more of a friend. Mary is friendly toward MiPP-E, but often points out his foolishness.
Trivia
MiP Meets MiP
When MiPP-E says “What? How can we both be MiP?”, the way he says “what” is a reference to how Steven says it in Steven Universe.
MiP Gets a Tour
MiPP-E says “Topic Twister”, a reference to the book Superflex Takes on Glassman and the Team of Unthinkables.
MiPP-E's song is a parody of “What’s This?” from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
MiP's Face-Off
When MiPP-E questions the hotel being rated 5 stars, this is a callback to what Meccanoid says about the Robot Hotel in "MiP Gets a Tour".
MiP's Quick Draw
The tape on the back of MiPP-E’s head stayed on the entire time since "MiP Meets MiP", but fell off when he entered the hotel.
MiPP-E references "MiP Gets a Tour" again when he comments on his understanding of why the hotel is rated 5 stars.
As MiPP-E leaves Bob to go to his hotel room, he hums “You’re Welcome” from Moana.
When MiPP-E says “I’m new to this village”, the cartoon eyes he has are the same ones Bob had in "MiP Gets a Tour" during his “cheap photo editing tricks” line.
The way MiPP-E faints is almost identical to when he fainted in "MiP Meets MiP".
MiP's Royal Treatment
MiPP-E appears with the same cartoon eyes from "MiP Gets a Tour" and "MiP's Quick Draw" during his conversation with I-Sobot.
MiP Boards the Love Boat
A clip from "MiP Plays Super Smash Bros!" is shown as when MiPP-E reminisces being attacked by Robosapien.
When MiPP-E spins in a circle while groaning, this is a reference to a scene in The Lego Movie in which Batman does the same thing, but only with his head.
When MiPP-E says “I have at least 87 more plans”, this is a reference to Kaos’s line in the secret ending of Skylanders Giants.
Skylanders merchandise can also be clearly seen in the background in various scenes.
Benny’s spaceship zooms into MiPP-E similar to how it crashes into various objects in The Lego Movie.
MiP of the Wild
MiPP-E’s line “It’s a pun! Like MiP and Wall-E? Get it?” is a callback to “MiP Plays Super Smash Bros!”.
MiPP-E’s lines “I shouldn’t have said that” and “I should NOT have said that” are quotes from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, spoken by Hagrid.
