Bob is a chill gaming robot who likes to go with the flow. He has a sarcastic humor and an almost aggressive passion for video games. He might come across as being a little weird, but he's not. He's cool. Him, MiPP-E, Mary, and Cody are referred to collectively as "the MiPs."
Voice Actor: Owen
Robot: "MiP" (White) from WowWee
Appearances:
Appearance
His color scheme is matte white and glossy black. His head is a white sphere with a black "visor" wrapped around it that contains his blue LED eyes. Each eye has the shape of two parenthesis with a dot in the middle. His torso is egg-shaped, with a multicolor light in the middle. There is a rectangular battery backpack on his back. His wide-set shoulders and forearms are bulkier and white, while his upper arms are thin and black. His waist is a black cylinder while his bottom is white and much wider. The WowWee logo is embedded below his waist. Two thin wheels that are somewhat gear-like in appearance extend from both sides of his bottom.
He has four points of movement: his two wheels, which are motorized, and his two arms (at the shoulder) which are poseable.
Abilities
Pendulum Robot
The MiPs all have the unique ability to balance on two wheels, much like a Segway. This allows for fast and free movement, but when standing still, they must wobble back and forth to maintain their balance.
Artistic Ability
In "MiP's Royal Treatment", it is revealed that Bob won the drawing contest to win the Nintendo Switch. His winning drawing was a parody of the Mona Lisa, except on her head she is wearing Cappy from Super Mario Odyssey, and she has a Mario's mustache. If he created this freehanded, which, based on the montage scene, he did, then he has incredible artistic ability.
Reality Warping
For the purpose of visual gags, Bob often breaks the fourth wall by "teleporting" when excited to get somewhere and by making cartoon eyes appear over his own when surprised or impressed.
Relationships
MiPP-E
They become friends in "MiP Meets MiP" after they were both released from their recovery in the Robot Hospital. Bob seems to be slightly monotone and antisocial, but he enjoys MiPP-E's company. They both share a strong, somewhat eager passion in Nintendo video games.
Meccanoid
Bob is very suspicious of Meccanoid in "MiP Gets a Tour", only willing to follow him in order to evade paying a hospital bill. However, he seems amazed when Meccanoid leads him to Robot Park, and is grateful afterwards.
RoboMe
Bob seems very disinterested in RoboMe in "MiP's Face-Off", not talking to him at all until he sees RoboMe's iPhone and realizes Pokémon Go is installed.
I-Sobot
I-Sobot seems slightly annoyed when Bob approaches him in "MiP's Quick Draw" demanding a Nintendo Switch. However, he calms down to explain the drawing contest. I-Sobot is also impressed with Bob's drawing, as he calls it "lovely" in "MiP's Royal Treatment".
The "Townsrobots"
When Turbo Dave declares Bob as "king" in "MiP's Royal Treatment", the crowd as a whole chants "King Bob" and treats him as royalty. They also gather in "MiP of the Wild" when Bob prepares to Paraglide. Bob accepts the crowd following him and plays it cool in front of them, but shows signs of enjoying the attention.
Turbo Dave
Turbo Dave convinces the "Townsrobots" that Bob is royalty in "MiP's Royal Treatment" by shouting "King Bob!". He later tries to help Bob by handing him the fart gun when he demands a weapon. It is unknown whether Turbo Dave is sincerely loyal to Bob or if he is just being mischievous. Bob shows no personal connection to Turbo Dave over the rest of the "Townsrobots".
Mary
In "MiP Boards the Love Boat", Bob becomes friends with Mary sometime between MiPP-E jumping off the cliff and him waking up after the fall. It seems that they share a love in video games.
amiibo Figures
In "MiP of the Wild", Bob "consults" a large crowd of amiibo for advice on how to Paraglide. Even though the amiibo don't seem to be responding, Bob speaks to them like he trusts them but is unafraid to criticize them.
