Production of season 2 began in December of 2017, but the first episode, "MiP Boards the Love Boat", was released on January 22, 2018. This season was updated with new fonts and animations before and after each episode. However, this season runs through 2019 as well. Production was slowed to make way for other YouTube series.
"MiP's Crash Landing" is also the first episode to feature the series theme song before it.
