Manzanita Lake Concept Plan

Lassen Volcanic National Park Needs YOUR Input before June 28th!

The National Park Service has developed a design concept plan and environmental assessment for the Manzanita Lake Developed Area of Lassen Volcanic National Park and is seeking public input on the proposed action. The plan includes concepts or natural and cultural resource protection, facility development, visitor use, and other management needs. You can help the park by reviewing the proposed action and providing your input.

How to get involved: Visit https://parkplanning.nps.gov/LAVO_DCP_EA between May 28, 2024, and June 28, 2024, to submit your input.

The Lassen Volcanic National Park asks staff and visitors alike to report wildlife sightings. Please use this form to report sightings of significant or unusual wildlife (such as cougars, bears, foxes, coyotes, marten, eagles, falcons, etc.) or any animal that is injured or acting strangely.  Find the form here.
