Although it may seem as if Mineral is so tiny and remote that services are simply unavailable here (or cost more if they are offered), the solution lies in neighborly communication and cooperation.

For years, many small communities have solved service and supply problems by approaching vendors for group deals. But to do so, organizers must understand what the majority of residents want and need, as well as what service providers are willing to offer.

The purpose of this survey is to get started on organizing such a program. Results from “Yardwork/Firewood,” “Around the House,” and “Building Services” will be tabulated to guide www.MineralCalifornia.com in the process of developing arrangements of mutual benefit between Mineral residents and area service providers.

Results from “Group Activities” will be used to encourage the formation of clubs that focus on residents’ interests. So tell us what you really want, and we’ll see about getting it!
