The Milford High School Bridges Program is one of many similar programs across Massachusetts designed to support students and families. The BRYT Network provides support and technical assistance to these programs.
Bridges is a Tier 3 student success program
Bridges offers support for students (and their families) as they engage on a path towards re-engagement with their educational process due to a major mental health or physical health disruption.
Students who may be accessing the space include:
Students returning from hospitalizations, students returning from out of school placements, students struggling with significant mental health difficulties

Bridges staff can provide a variety of services, including:

Academic assistance and tutoring in a supportive, in-school environment
Collaboration with teachers to ensure that the student can maintain coursework to the extent possible
Communication between the student and school personnel, therapists, and other service providers
OUR MISSION
To lessen the social, emotional and academic impact that long term absences and school disengagement has on students.
Particularly, with relationship to students struggling with mental health difficulties and adverse childhood experiences/toxic stress (trauma).
Our goal is to successfully transition students from the Bridges program back to re-engaging with their educational process.
Bridges is a stop on their journey, not an end destination.
