kaz's fraternal twin. older by a few minutes. we like her she's easygoing

nathan's toxic on-and-off gf. she likes roller derby and alcohol.

maria is an act-first-think-later type of person, although this has yet to negatively affect her. she is very goal-oriented, although some may call her calculating, and often favours things like reputation and possessions over genuine connection. she has no trouble dismissing others to get what she wants, yet people are drawn to her for her fun and adventurous personality

her family tree fell victim to a curse many generations ago that meant a random family member every decade or so would suddenly fall fatally ill. maria lives under the constant fear that she will be the next one to contract the illness/curse, and so she spends her time very brashly, trying not to get too close to anyone for fear of losing them slowly and painfully. unfortunately, this way of living seems to do her more harm than good, but the habit is so ingrained into her that she doesn't know any other way to exist

a bit of a sad girl. keia's first true friend and a close companion. she unfortunately has feelings for them that will never be fully reciprocated, but in true loyal fashion, always puts the terrorist group's cause first
