A goal of mine as a technology educator is to be able to take the skills I have learned about education technology and be able to apply this knowledge to the designing of great lessons that will enrich my student's education. Becoming a learning designer requires teachers to create experiences that will best fit their unique classroom climates. Good learning designers ensure that the technology tools used will support the differences among learners and in-turn create a fulfilling digital learning environment for students.
The google mini Unit that I created in this class is a great example of the cummulative learning designer skills I have gained throughout this course. This mini-unit incorporates many google lessons of various types to provide my studnets with a great opportunity to learn in a digital environement that will best fit them. This unit plan was detailed and well thought out as to how each technology tool would be used in cohesion with the content being taught. Through peer reviews I was also able to use the collaborative component of a ISTE standard learnign designer. My peers were able to help me formulate a successful education technoligoy unit plan that was refined to ensure its organization and requiremnts were not only met but expanded upon.
