Through the completion of this project I worked to evaluate and analyze educational technology applications. The application that I alalyzed was Storybird. While creating this video story I had the chance to work with another teacher and gain their perspectives and knowledge of their experiences ugh educational technology throughout an interview that I conducted with them. This project contributes to my growth as an education te homologous specialist as it met standards in the areas of connected leader, change agent, collaborator and professional learning facilitator. I worked to encourage the use of educational technology, understand and connect past experiences with technology in the classroom to new strategies and possible reccommendations for this teacher to use in their own classroom.

This project embraces the concept of growth. As technology is advancing so must our understanding of its potential and ways that we can utilize technology in the most efficient ways without compromising digital citizenship. AI technology is an example of how technology is evolving into the educational realm. This project offered opportunities to conduct research on AI technology and learn more about the topic, learn what digital citizenship looks like when using AI technology and develop our own lessons through the use of AI technology. This first hand experience of using AI technology helped me grow as a professional and be able to make a data informed decision about whether I’d like to use AI technology in lesson building.
In this project I interviewed 3 different students to gain insight to their perspectives on the newest technologies being used. This projected allowed an opportunity for me to be a change agent as I facilitate an environment that encourages education technology that will promote a positive educational experience. I also learned a lot from this activity and grew as a professional as I was able to learn how to consider student attitudes towards learning and how they see technology impacting them.

Activities such as literature reviews are essential to professional development growth. It is important to learn from data and previous teacher experiences in order to make informed decision about a topic. This project encourages teachers to deepen their learning of the topic of Technology in education as well as connect to other teachers experiences from across the globe and how they see diverse technology being used and what seems to be most effective for promoting student success.

This project not only let me work on my own technology skills but also work on collaborative skills. During this project I conducted and answered interviews on mobile learning apps. I was able to collaborate with other teachers for this project and learn how they have used mobile learning apps, what they know about mobile learning apps and what goals they have for using mobile technology in the future.

This assessment of game based applications enhanced my skills as an educational technology specialist. Within this project I researched game-based assessment tools, analyzed them and then provided an evaluation of them based on what I learned about them. This project encompasses many of the skills that educational technology specialists work to obtain and it served as practice for future technology recommendations that could be given.

This research paper incorporated both a literature review and interviews. Both of these portions of the paper contribute to the professional development that took place during the completion of this project. Not only did I learn from the literature I reviewed also from the teachers experiences that I interviewed. This literature review was completed towards the end of this coiursre and exemplifies strides made throughout this course.

The course reflection assignment has a further breakdown of each large project that was completed throughout the duration of this course. This project served as an opportunity to reflect on growth that occurred during this course and what advancements I have made in the field of educational technology. My final remarks as far as reccommendations, improvements to be made and any other comments are also incorporated into this project. In order to complete this project I used many technology skills along with reflection and the skills that I have gained from this course in order to form an all encompassing reflection of this class as a whole.
