4.1 Change Agent
Coaches inspire educators and leaders to use technology to create equitable and ongoing access to high-quality learning. Coaches:
4.1.a Create a shared vision and culture for using technology to learn and accelerate transformation through the coaching process.
4.1.b Facilitate equitable use of digital learning tools and content that meet the needs of each learner.
4.1.c Cultivate a supportive coaching culture that encourages educators and leaders to achieve a shared vision and individual goals.
4.1.d Recognize educators across the organization who use technology effectively to enable high-impact teaching and learning.
4.1.e Connect leaders, educators, instructional support, technical support, domain experts and solution providers to maximize the potential of technology for learning.
Throughtout this course I have demonstrated the skills associated with this ISTE standard labeled "change agaent" in various ways. Through different activities and assignemnts the class has connected and collkaborated in order to develop the foundation for our educational technology philosophies. We have completed trainings and read literature that describes strategies that are best for integration of technology in education. As educators we have been inspired by coaches, and in turn are now equipped to become coaches oursleves.
During this course, I completed the Google educator level 1 certification. In order to complete this, I have read, watched videos, and learned about all of google's best tips for success as a google certified educator. At the end of each unit, I completed and passed unit quizzes and at the end of this level of google certification, I passed the google educator level 1 exam. Through this experience, I have learned to embrace progressive change and to take on new challenges that will expand my knowledge as a technology educator and positively affect my future students learning experiences.
